Lives and works in the Netherlands (Eersel) and Spain (Salamanca).

"Painting to me is trying to express what it means to be human.
What it means to be alive."

"In Spain the light is so prominent, it almost imposes itself upon you. When I first experienced the extremely high temperatures in the summer, my paint became so liquid and my body paralysed by the heat that I put down my brushes and turned directy to the light. That's how my photography started."
